For me, Kerrigan, Queen of Blades was the face of bad ass RTS games of my childhood. Although my brothers managed to get Warcraft 2 running on our DOS machine Starcraft never really made it into our house. I’m not sure why. My brother used to go to Dick Smiths (an electronics store) and play an hour or two of it when he’d come home from school. He wasn’t bothered by anyone because he had friends that worked there or something.

When I finally had a chance to get around to playing it it must have been about 2008 or so. And by that time there was no way I was going back to 640×480 resolution games.
