It’s funny how things turn out, isn’t it? While I firmly believe it’s always worth learning from your mistakes and trying to choose a smart path, you can’t expect that to lead to things turning out the way you planned. You just don’t have that much control over the world around you. As far as I’m concerned, the key to being okay with this is acknowledging your helplessness, then putting that aside and just finding the flecks of beauty in whatever comes your way. Experiences are all any of us have – don’t miss the chance to appreciate even the most painful of them. Sometimes though it’s okay to want those experiences to just come to an end.
