It’s funny, the little things we get upset about. They don’t really matter in the big scheme of things most of the time; certainly most of our mundane issues don’t even get close to comparing to the horrors that some people have to deal with on a daily basis. But it’s impossible to go through life thinking “Well, my breakup doesn’t really matter because somewhere there’s a badly burned Albanian boy who got toasted by a racist dragon.” As it were. We just aren’t built to be that objective. So at the end of the day, don’t feel too bad if you’re more concerned about your parking ticket than world peace. That’s just how the human do.
