We all have bad days (or am I the only one?!😉). Days when nothing works like we hope. Days when we wake up on the wrong side of the bed and it’s hard to find a positive mood. Days when nothing inspires us. Days when we look at the mirror and it’s difficult to love yourself.. ❤ For me there is a master medicine for moments when I feel sad, upset or angry: Sports. Maybe I love training that much because it makes me feel so happy. It gives me a boost that sometimes my mind can’t do. I’m able to change from negative to positive. ❤ Running in the nature or doing long and deep stretches help me in everything. Today I practiced my handstand in the sunset and I really enjoyed it. I’m so grateful that I have my legs, hands and my body and I’m able to move them. ❤ What do you do when you want to feel better?😊

TWO SIDES. ❤ Each situation has it’s own benefits. I think you can find something good in everything but also something bad. It depends on your attitude, mood and life situation. ❤ Of course some things are easy to see in positive light and other ones in negative but if we focus on the good part of things, our life is much happier. ❤ …And anyway it’s hard (or impossible) to get everything. You can wish for silence and peace but when you get it, you can end up feeling bored and hope for some action around you. You can dream about working in an office but when you get it, you wish to work outdoors again. If you wish being “free” and single… you maybe wish for a partner when you are single… ❤ We should appreciate what we have because we can always find something else that we want.That’s because every situation has two sides. I’m also quite sure that the grass may look greener on the other side of the fence but when you actually are on the other side, you notice that it’s the same grass too.☺ ❤ So today I try to be extra grateful about everything and see the good side of things. ☺

NYC diary 2/3 ❤ Yesterday I had free time here in NYC and in the morning I went to Central Park. I really loved walking there. Even if it was pretty cold the weather was amazing. The sun shined and the sky was blue. I took this background photo in Time Warner Center next to Central Park where I took take away coffee.. View behind the window was beautiful! ❤ After Central Park I took a taxi to the Chelsea Market. I can recommend that place for 100%, so many lovely food places and little shops.. I also walked on the High Line in Chelsea and saw the Statue of Liberty from far away.☺ ❤ Then I went to do a little bit of shopping in SoHo and I ate such a delicious avocado toast in Le Pain Quotidien. ❤ I started to be tired after a whole day of walking so I went back to the hotel and took a break, worked a bit and in the evening I went to eat some good Japanese food in Times Square. ❤ My day was really nice and I feel that I saw a lot of things in one day. New york is very inspiring and intresting but also a bit noisy. I need yoga and meditation to balance out this hectic city!😉 ❤ ps. I did have a friend with me.☺

Thank you so much for your suggestions in my last picture, there were so many good ideas and I will write about those subjects in the future. ☺ ❤ Today I did a long walk in the sunshine. I felt so happy in the middle of the nature where I saw animals, trees and flowers. I also love light, shine and shadows. I don’t know which one came first: my passion to photograph or my interest in how light acts.. In everyday life I always notice light and look for good “light spots”. Even if I do my photos in studio light, I love natural light the most. There is something magical in it and it’s difficult to recreate. ❤ I get a lot of energy from breathing fresh air inside me. Today I took my phone with me and took many pictures during my walk. I sometimes do like that when I spot interesting elements around me for my pictures. I can see better how beautiful and detailed the world is. ❤ It’s like meditation, I forget everything else that’s going on in my life. I really recommend to try it… Now I have a dozens of pics in memory from my walk today and just looking at them makes me smile! ☺

Today I’ve been thinking about how many beautiful things there really are that we can’t always see. Cherishing beauty can help you be present in the moment and feel joy. So today I have tried to noticed more of my environment in every moment. ❤ When I take pictures or travel to new places it’s easy to pay attention and scan beautiful details. I see nicely decorated doors, hand made coffee cups and puddles that reflect the light beautifully. But in a familiar environment the things become so normal that I don’t notice the real beauty in them anymore. ❤ Today I’ve tried to appreciate something in everything. It’s actually quite nice to try and find beauty in unusual things and places where I don’t normally see it. Some of my beauty piece today: smoothiebowl, the floor in the cafe, footprints in the mud, WhatsApp’s writing font, a geniously made zip on my bag, the color of the eyes of someone, the sky even if it’s just grey… Etc. 😉 ❤ I challenge you to notice ALL the beautiful things around you today and enjoy it!❤

Hi, how are you?! 😊 I want to be honest and I have to say, today I started to miss you so much. Lately my focus hasn’t been fully on NYG, not because I wouldn’t want to but because so many other things and the fact that I’ve been wondering a lot about what to do next. I’ve had this account one and half years now. It feels like an eternity! So many photos, captions and experiences! And so many feelings. I’ve grown in many ways. ❤ When I started I never thought that I would even consider showing my face or who I’m fully. That isn’t the point of the account. But nowadays I’ve started to feel that you are like friends to me. I don’t see that much reason in hiding anymore because part of me would like to come closer to you. I would like to be just who I am without secrets, without choosing the right words, without living a double life in some way! ❤️ But then the next day I think no, absolutely no! So I just wanted to share my feelings with you because always when I’m not sure about how to continue, I don’t continue at all even if I could just share this part with you too. Thank you so much that you are there and share my art and journey with me. It means more than you can imagine and I would like to hug you all who send me positive vibes, wise thoughts and who has had the same feelings about body, yoga, self-acceptance and self-love, and life in general as me. It’s good to know that there are so many kind people in this world!! 😊

Today I took a yoga class in the middle of nature in Bali. I felt the warm wind on my skin, view was amazing and a man was playing live music. I don’t know what was the main reason, why the experience was so amazing. I can say it was easily the best class that I’ve ever taken… ❤ Was it Bali, was it inspirational yogis around me, or a good teacher. Maybe it was just good timing for me to do 1.5 hours of yin. Anyway I really got to another level with relaxation and meditation. At the end of the class I noticed that I was just smiling to myself. I felt filled with love! ❤️ Yoga really can be such an amazing and empowering practice. Love, empathy, kindness and gratitude. There is nothing better than to feel those strongly: not just towards others but also towards yourself. Namaste 🙏❤️
